An Inside Look at a Wedding Coordinator's Emergency Bag

Just like the Girl Scouts, a wedding coordinator should always be prepared.

Wedding days can be unpredictable. As a wedding coordinator, part of the job to make sure everything falls perfectly into place.

Obviously I keep a binder full of notes, contact information, timelines, and plans for the weekend with me. However, these things don't help a light-headed Best Man, wipe a Maid-of-Honor's tears, or get a stain out of a bride's dress.

People in the wedding party typically don't carry much with them the day of the wedding. They have so many places to be and pictures to be a part of that there just isn't room for every "just in case" item in a tux pocket or a clutch purse.

The wedding coordinator has the eyes and ears of everything happening on the wedding day. I never know what might happen at a wedding or what someone may need, so I have found it's best to be prepared for anything. Take a look inside what I like to keep with me when I coordinate weddings.
